Description: Install the Overhead Lighting Unit

Note: With help, lift the lighting unit into place so it comes down on the back and side walls. Secure with 8 - #8 screws through countersunk predrilled holes once you are sure everything lines up and the walls are flush with the overhead unit. If installed properly, the top - like the base unit, will have about a 3/4" gap between the wall termination and the front panel of the top - this is normal, it allows room for the front panels to be installed later on. Take this time to caulk ALL exposed edges! the basic structure is done at this point. Take your time to recheck all your joints.

Test your lighting, recheck your wiring to verify it meets code, and clean everything up. Once it’s mounted it’s hard to work on it again. (especially with 8' ceilings)
